The REB, CSC, and the Long-Deferred Real Estate Authority of Jamaica
Jamaica's two property regulatory bodies have been working toward a merger since 2020. As of 2026, the merger is operationally underway but legislatively unfinished — and the Shared Communities Act will be administered by the existing REB.
