How long does setup take?
Most communities are fully onboarded within a week. We handle data migration, user setup, and provide training for your management team and security personnel.
Do residents need to download an app?
Yes, FiWi Community is available on both iOS and Android. Residents use the app for visitor registration, checking balances, receiving announcements, and more.
What do we need to get started?
A list of your lots/units and homeowner contact information. If you use QuickBooks or Sage Accounting, we'll connect to your existing data. We handle the rest — including training your security guards.

Product & Features

What's included in the software subscription?
Every plan includes the full platform: visitor management with QR check-in, resident mobile app (iOS & Android), accounting and invoice management, delinquency tracking with automated reminders, community announcements, document portal, service request management, and security shift tools.
What are the automated QR gate scanners?
These are cloud-managed hardware devices installed at your gates or doors that automatically read visitor QR codes and grant entry — no guard interaction needed. Each scanner includes professional installation and configuration. Guards can also scan QR codes from their phone as part of the base software, so the hardware is optional.
How does the QuickBooks and Sage integration work?
FiWi syncs with your QuickBooks Online or Sage Accounting account to pull invoices, payments, and credit memos in real time. Residents see their balances instantly through the app. Your accounting workflow stays the same — FiWi reads your existing data. Communities without an external accounting system can use FiWi's built-in accounting platform instead.

Payments & AutoPay

Can residents pay maintenance fees through the app?
Yes. Residents pay maintenance fees inside the FiWi Community app by Visa or Mastercard, in JMD or USD. They can also enroll in AutoPay so future invoices clear automatically on the due date.
How does AutoPay work?
Residents enroll in AutoPay through the app and authorize automatic payments on the maintenance fee due date. They receive a notification before each charge and an instant digital receipt once the payment clears. AutoPay can be paused or cancelled at any time.
How are payments processed?
Payments are processed through Amber Pay, a Jamaican payment platform. Card data is handled directly by Amber Pay under PCI-DSS controls — FiWi never stores card numbers.
Can overseas owners pay in US dollars?
Yes. FiWi Community supports both JMD and USD billing and payment, which is especially useful for overseas owners who would otherwise need to wire funds or visit a bank.
When do funds reach the community's bank account?
Funds settle to the community's bank account on the same business day for most transactions — not the three-to-five-day wait residents and treasurers have come to expect from traditional card processing.
What happens if a card expires under AutoPay?
The resident is notified immediately and prompted to update their card. The community treasurer also sees a clear failed-payment status in the management dashboard, so missed AutoPay charges don't silently slip into arrears.

Pricing & Billing

How much does FiWi cost?
Software pricing is per-unit: $200/month flat for up to 50 units (Starter), $2.00/unit for 51-200 (Standard), $1.75/unit for 201-500 (Growth), and custom pricing for 500+. Automated gate scanners are optional at $50/month rental or $1,000 one-time purchase per scanner.
Do you offer discounts for property management companies?
Yes. Companies managing 2-4 communities receive 10% off software, and those managing 5 or more receive 15% off. Contact us for a custom multi-site quote.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept bank transfers and major credit cards. For larger communities, we can arrange custom billing terms.

Security & Compliance

Is my data secure?
Yes. All data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest (AES-256). We comply with the Jamaica Data Protection Act and implement industry-standard security practices. See our Security page for full details.
Does FiWi help with compliance under the Registration (Shared Community) Act?
Yes. The Registration (Shared Community) Act 2026 requires gated subdivisions and shared communities to maintain proper financial records, levy maintenance contributions, and enforce by-laws. FiWi Community provides automated invoicing, delinquency tracking, financial reporting, and document management to help your community corporation meet these requirements.
How does FiWi compare to PropMan?
